Simi Chahal Decodes Her Pollywood Journey With This Heartfelt Post
Popular actress Simi Chahal, stepped into Punjabi film industry in 2014 with the film ‘Bambukat’. Exactly three years ago, Simi entered Pollywood with this film, and she still feels that the journey has been surreal.
Simi, who is an avid social media user and posts pictures and videos regularly on her Instagram handle, recently shared a collage of her pictures from each of her film until now. She posted the picture with a heartfelt caption, describing her Pollywood journey so far.
Simi wrote: “29th JULY 2016 ♥️??
ajj mainu pure 3 SAAL ho gaye Punjabi Film Industry ch aayi nu?? and it still feels surreal✨Just feels like yesterday that I shot my first scene?, dubbed my first movie?
For a small town girl to even come this far and have such a blessed life, there are many people I am grateful to, first and foremost my Mother(You are the BEST)❣️, my Friends?, a few wonderful people from the industry-well they have become a family now? But most of all, I want to THANK ALL OF YOU for being there for me (fanpages included)?, whether was I Pakko in Bambukat, Paali in Sarvann ,Guddi in Rabb Da Radio/(2), Mishri in Golak,Bugni,Bank te Batua, Basant Kaur in Daana Paani, Sumeet in Bhajjo Veero Ve, Rano, or the latest one as Savy in Chal Mera Putt??”
She added “I am so grateful for all your love and support for my work and the constant reminder to work harder than before(I try my best). It has been an incredible 3 year journey, I’m hoping it will also be a long one because I wouldn’t have it any other way???♥️? Simi has won the Best Debut Actress Award at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2017 for the film Bambukat, and then the Best Actress Critics Award in 2018 for the film Rabb Da Radio.
