Since 2001, Sikhs In Pakistan Are Hosting Iftar For Their Muslim Brothers

While Muslims around the world are fasting in this holy month of Ramadan, Sikh communities around them are hosting Iftar for them. One of the Sikh community in Peshawar, Pakistan is following the tradition of arranging Iftar dinner for their Muslim brothers.

In an old video, which is going viral on the social media now, Sikh men are seen gladly arranging Iftari for the Muslims. People across the world are sharing this video and praising the Sikh community for their humanity act.

A leading website, Daily Sikh Updates has in its report said that the Sikh community has been following the tradition of arranging Iftar dinner since 2001.

Earlier, the only Sikh temple in UAE, Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara’ which has been hosting interfaith Iftar for six years, has decided to host daily Iftar from this year.
