Four guests will feature in the upcoming episodes of PTC Punjabi’s new show ‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’, which is about showcasing inspiring tales of women who battled odds to change the world around them.
Besides honouring them, PTC Punjabi in association with Nanhi Chhan Punjab will also give them ‘Sirjanhaari Awards 2018′ for their achievements.
Here are the synopsis of Episode 4:
Nicky Pawan Kaur – Core member of Chandigarh Spinal Rehab, Nicky Kaur’s aim is to enhance the quality of life of persons with spinal cord and brain Injury.
Chandigarh Spinal Rehab is a Standalone & Unique Model in our country and one of its kind in the Northern region. A 20 bed inpatient facility & fully equipped with an outgoing patient clinic (OPD).
Manpreet Kaur – She started ‘Phulkari’ and other crafts work, which she learnt from her grandmother, to help her family to overcome financial crisis. Besides, she also made thousands of women of nearby areas to join her and inspired them to work for better living.
Jaanvi & Lavanya – Inspired by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s movie ‘Padman’, two Chandigarh based teenagers have started a hygiene campaign, ‘spot free’, for girls living in slum areas of the city.
Jaanvi Singh, 15, and Laavanya Jain, 17, are working hand in hand to spread awareness about hygiene. They also distributes sanitary pads to the underprivileged girls to promote hygiene.

Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi, senior executive of a leading newspaper of Punjab and a leading social activist Gurjot Kaur and Rajni Bector, founder of a well-known brand Cremicafoods, are among the jury members on the show.
