Sirjanhaari Episode 7: Story Of Manjeet Kaur, Manjit Kaur Will Inspire You

‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ is all about showcasing inspiring tales of women who battled odds to change the world around them.

PTC Punjabi will telecast the episode 7 of ‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ on 30th September. The upcoming episode will feature two guests, Manjeet Kaur from Jalandhar and Manjit Kaur from Jaipur.

Earlier episodes of PTC Punjabi have received massive response from the audience and the new episode will introduce two women who worked really hard to change their life.

This show will not only honor the women but will also give them ‘Sirjanhaari Awards 2018’ for their achievements.

Here is the synopsis of Episode 7:

Manjeet Kaur, Jalandhar – Manjeet Kaur is the first female ambulance driver of her area. She got married at the age of 15 years in Kapurthala, and was living with two mentally retarded in laws and a drunkard husband. She went through many things in life, with a drunkard husband who used to beat her and also killed her daughter, when she was just 7 months old. They lost every asset of theirs due to her husband’s addiction of alcohol. Her husband even tried to put her to prostitution, which she somehow managed to escape.

Then, she shifted to Jalandhar with her family where she learned driving and started using a cheap van as ambulance. She rose her family fighting against the social evils and became an inspiration for many. She had the courage to fight the battle face instead of relying on others to fight for her.

Manjit Kaur, Jaipur – Manjit Kaur is a social worker. She provides ambulance services free of cost and also works as traffic warden whenever needed. She is the first lady of Rajasthan, who is also a life member of Aadarsh Nagar, Shamshan Ghaat. She also organizes Gurbani competitions at State level and teaches Gurmukhi free of cost. She was honored by Arora Vikas Samih, Satya Shanti Samman, A.I.S.M.U.F Rajasthan Sikh Samaj, AWE Club, Lashkara Club.
