Soorma Trailer To Be Unveiled Soon, Watch Video To know More

Trailer for Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming movie Soorma will be released on 11th June. The Punjabi Actor has confirmed the same with an Instagram post uploaded yesterday night.

Soorma is based on the biography of the Indian hockey player, Sandeep Singh, and is directed by Shaad Ali. Diljit will be seen stepping in the shoes of Sandeep Singh, who made miraculous headlines after an unfortunate freak accident.

Taapsee Pannu, is the leading female actor, will be seen as the onscreen love of Diljit Dosanjh in the film. The love story to be revealed in this movie is not the usual one. It shows two people falling in love and doing little things for each other .

Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu starrer Soorma was earlier scheduled to release on 29th June, 2018 but now the film has got a new release date. The makers took the decision to change its launch date to avoid its clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, Sanju, which is set to release on 29th June.

The Punjabi Actor, had to undergo intense training to prepare for this role. It was very challenging for him to portray as a hockey player on screen. The training provided to him as a hockey player was very rigorous but he was able to pick up the intricacies of the game under the guidance of Sandeep.

Two more movies based on hockey have launched recently, namely, Khido Khundi and Harjeeta. Let’s see what response audience gives to Diljit’s Soorma.

"Soorma" will get its trailer on 11th June and is set to be released on 13th July, 2018.
