Sikhs are known for their bravery, their hard work, and everything they do to help the ones in the needs. In a world where Sikhs are known for helping others, Balbir Singh has helped himself and stood strong at the age of 76. Balbir is the famous ‘Omelette Wale Sardarji’, who sells 3 different types of eggs near Pragati Maidan Metro Station in Delhi.
The man has lost his entire family and is earning his bread and surviving alone in this bitter world alone. Balbir used to work as a cycle repairer, and then used to repair cars, but with time he had lost the strength to work with such powerful machines.
His first son died in the year 1987, and soon after that in 1992 his wife breathed her last. Balbir’s second son lost his life in the year 1998, while his third son died in the year 2013. He wasn’t done suffering through his hardships that his grandson from his third son died in 2016.
Today, he has no one to take care of him. Even though, he feels that God has given him enough strength to earn his bread and sustain his survival.
