Three Little Sardars Dressed As 21 Sikh Soldiers From Kesari Will Win Your Heart

Akshay Kumar kick-started the year 2019 with a bang as his latest released "Kesari" has raked in over Rs 21 crore at the box office on the first day of its release. With this, Akshay’s war drama has emerged as the biggest opener of 2019 so far.

While Kesari is being enjoyed by moviegoers of all age groups, nothing matches the love one receives from the little ones. Three cute little kids dressed as the 21 Sikh soldiers from Kesari are winning the internet.

On the second day of the film, a Twitter user named Gagan Mohan Singh shared a photo of three cute little boys dressed as the 21 Sikh soldiers from Kesari, posing against a poster of the film outside a cinema hall.

He captioned the image as: “#Kesari Kids super excited about being a part of history and getting to know a part of their history.”

This picture got instantly viral on social media even as film’s lead actor Akshay Kumar re-tweeted the image on his wall and wrote: “This is the cutest picture I’ve seen today, hope they enjoyed the film. God bless them.”

Directed by Anurag Singh, "Kesari" is based on the historic Battle of Saragarhi in 1897. The North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan), saw 21 Sikhs of the 36th Sikh Regiment (now the 4th Battalion of the Sikh Regiment) of British India, defending an army post against more than 10,000 Afghan and Orakzai tribesmen.
