India is the best example of communal harmony in the world. Our citizens, belonging to different religion, have proved many a time that they are capable of living together happily.

Here we are listing 5 examples of friendship and love by Sikh people which will restore your faith in humanity.

Build A Mosque – Setting a perfect example of brotherhood, members of the Sikh and Hindu communities joined hands together to build a mosque for their Muslim brothers in a village in Punjab.

Times Of India in its report mentioned that members of the Sikh and Hindu communities in the village of Ghalib Ran Singh Waal, constructed a mosque ahead of the holy month of Ramzan in 2017.

Pulwama Attack - Kashmiri Muslims thanked Sikh community after they helped them by providing food, shelter soon after Pulwama attack. Sikhs were spotted guarding the hostels where Kashmiri students stayed in places like Ambala and Dehradun.

Iftar –From hosting ‘Iftar’ dinner for Muslims in Pakistan’s Peshawar to providing ‘iftari’ to Muslim immigrant workers in Singapore, Sikhs proved that for them humanity comes first.

Sikh Policeman Saves Muslim - Sikh police officer Gagandeep Singh saved a Muslim man from mob after the latter was found with a Hindu girl at a temple near Ramnagar in Nainital district.

New Zealeand Attack - Soon after the terror attacks outside mosques in New Zealand, local Sikh community come together to help their Muslim brothers during the tough time.
