Urvashi Rautela gets emotional as Harnaaz Sandhu wins Miss Universe 2021 and gets home the crown

Urvashi Rautela, the Bollywood actor and also former Miss World, served as the youngest judge at Miss UniverseDome in Eilat, Israel. The actress is super happy and thrilled as India won this year's Miss Universe title and bright back the crown home after 21 long years. India’s Harnaaz Sandhu won the title of Miss Universe and made everyone proud but most of all she made Urvashi Rautela proud and also emotional. Urvashi being the only Indian present there, witnessed India’s win and couldn't hold back her tears. No matter where an Indian goes, one is always rooted in their culture and the actor’s reaction made it clear how big this win was for the nation.

Another video with Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu was shared by Urvashi holding the Indian Flag with Pride. It was a historic moment for India as she was the youngest judge ever been called at the Miss Universe. Talking about the moment she said “I would say that I am super happy as I was the only Indian in the jury to witness that historic moment in front of my eyes. I couldn’t control my tears at the moment. From the moment I entered Israel to meet the former Prime Minister as he had invited me and my family till being the judge at the Miss Universe, back in the time when I was the part of Miss Universe we rarely used to have anyone as an Indian judge, like rarely about one percent."

She also expressed her feeling on witnessing India’s win at the competition as she continued saying, “So, for me being the judge for the very first time at the Miss Universe pageant and then India winning, nothing could be more historic than it. I saw the iconic moment with my eyes. I feel like the luckiest person in the entire universe right now because achieving so much love, respect, and recognition in Israel from the people from the organization and the government is truly iconic as it’s a proud moment for me.”

From the 21-year-old Harnaaz Sandhu, the very first words that came out were, “Chak De Phatte, India”. The new Miss Universe 2021 left South Africa’s Lalela Mswane and Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira behind and winning the crown after 21 years for India.

From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to former Miss Universe Lara Dutta congratulated Harnaaz Sandhu for winning the crown and getting it home.
