Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan Starrer ‘Coolie No. 1’ To Now Release On New Year 2021?

Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's Coolie No. 1 was set to release on May 1, 2020, but it was pushed forward due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Several reports have stated that the film may release on an online platform, and a recent report has come in that Coolie No 1 may be releasing in theatres only. Not just this, the report also revealed the projected release date of Sara and Varun’s film.

As per the reports, the film will release on New Year 2021 as it is a much needed comic relief in serious times.

Meanwhile, a lot of big Bollywood films like Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb, Ajay Devgn's Bhuj: The Pride of India, and Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2 are going to be streaming on the OTT platform soon. But Coolie No. 1 isn't vying for the option. The source continued about this and said, "They were flooded with offers from OTT platforms, including Hotstar and Amazon. But David Dhawan is a believer of big screen entertainment, and put his foot down. He has the final call on every decision related to the film, and the team also were on the same page of releasing it in theatres."
