Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, known for his magnanimous energy both on and off the screen, surprised his fans after he paid a surprise visit to Manchester where the highly-awaited World Cup contest between India and Pakistan was played on June 16.
The actor, who will be seen essaying the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in his forthcoming film ’83,’ cheered for team India with full spirit. On the D-day, he also made his debut as a commentator and clicked selfies with former cricketers and his fans present to witness the epic clash.

Now, a video of Ranveer Singh is going viral on social media in which he can be seen consoling one disheartened Pakistani fan post the match. In the video, Ranveer can also be heard saying “Don’t be disheartened. You played well. The boys are committed, dedicated, professional, and they’ll be back.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is shooting for the Kabir Khan’s much awaited film ‘83’ in London. The film, scheduled to release in April 2020, also stars Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Deepika Padukone in lead role.
