Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, known for delivering super-hit films like ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Simmba’ among others, recently got emotional on the sets of a dance based reality television show.

According to the reports, the actor burst into tears after he saw a contestant's performance who portrayed the actor's journey into Bollywood. Reportedly, the contestant performed on 'Lootera' song 'Zinda Hoon Yaar' to narrate Ranveer’s journey from being an outsider to reaching stardom in Hindi film industry.

"I had never thought that I would come in a dance show and someone would tell my life through dance. I am amazed, this is the thing that affects my heart the most that you have done for me. Time has changed, last year, I did two superb movies, got married and many times I feel that this is all a dream. You people have really made me emotional and I could not stop my tears, it was a touching moment," Times of India quoted Ranveer Singh as saying.

Besides, Ranveer’s ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Alia Bhatt also got emotional on the sets.

On the work front, Ranveer is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film is releasing on February 14.
