Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar visited Golden Temple in Amritsar ahead of the beginning of the New Year 2019. The legendary batsman visited along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar on December 21.
Sachin took to his official Twitter handle to share few pictures from his visit to the religious place. He captioned the images as: “Sending good wishes to all of you from the Golden Temple, Amritsar! 🙂 Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.”

During his visit, Sachin was honoured with a Siropa (robe of honour), a model of Sri Harmandir Sahib and a set of religious books by the SGPC members.
Sachin Tendulkar is world’s leading run-scorer in Tests and One-day Internationals. In 200 Tests Sachin amassed 15,921 runs while in ODIs he scored 18,426 runs in 463 matches.
