Watch: Splendid Display Of Fireworks During Vaisakhi 2019 At Golden Temple

The devotees witnessed a splendid display of fireworks at Golden Temple or Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar during the festival of Vaisakhi on April 14.

Baisakhi, Vasakhi or Vaisakhi is a sacred festival of Sikhs, which is celebrated every year on April 13 or 14. It is celebrated with much fervor in Punjab and nearby areas. Processions are carried out, Satsang and Nagar kirtan are held across the city. People prepare delicious festive cuisines and visit gurudwaras to offer prayers.

Besides, Vaisakhi also marks the foundation day of the Khalsa community. It was established in order to teach the followers that no ritual or superstition is above Almighty and one should not fall for any superstition.
