Amid these trying times when the world is going through a pandemic, many people have extended their support to help those in need. Among those helpers, Sikhs have also been helping others as much as they could. Sikhs in Gurudwaras are providing food and shelter to those who are in desperate need. The support has been acknowledged and thanked by Delhi Police. The Delhi police today paid a visit to Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib for expressing thankfulness for the support being offered by Sikhs in battling against Covid-19 pandemic. Notably, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is consistently providing food for more than 1,00,000 people every day in Delhi. Watch the video here. The Delhi Police did a Parikarma of the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib with their sirens on, as to express their gratitude towards the help done by the Sikh community; to provide shelter to the homeless and to thank them for the Langar sewa they are doing for the hungry. We hope that the pandemic gets over soon but until then people should help others who are in desperate need. Meanwhile, we request each one of you to stay inside and stay safe until things get better and keep boosting the morale of others who are working tirelessly in this hard time.
