Malkit Singh needs no introduction. He is a living legend of Punjabi music industry. He is known for his hit songs like ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mita’, ‘Tootak Tootak Tootiyan’, ‘Kurri Garam Jayee’, ‘Dekh li vilyait’ and ‘Chal Hun’ among others.

Popularly known as the ‘King of Bhangra’, Malkit Singh has a Guinness World Record to his name. In the 2000th Millennium Edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, Malkit Singh registered his name as the 'Best Selling Bhangra Solo Artist in the World'.

Malkit Singh, who has made Punjabis proud in the whole world, is a joyful person. But, you won't believe that even a happy-go-lucky person like Malkit Singh failed to control his emotions and burst into tears on the sets of PTC Punjabi’s reality TV show Voice of Punjab Season 6.

Malkit, who was one of the judges on the show, got a bit emotional after listening to a song from one of the contestants Simran.
