Being touted for its massive 350 Crore budget, Akshay Kumar was not director Shankar’s first choice. The likes of Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Vikram, Hrithik Roshan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and even Arnold Schwarzenegger were approached for the role but somehow things didn’t work out and finally Akshay was roped in.
