‘When The Camera Is On, He’s A Character, An Actor’, Says Sunny Deol On Working With His Son

Deol family’s 3^rd generation is all set to hit the silver screen with the upcoming Hindi film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ on September 20. The film is directed by Sunny Deol and stars his son Karan Deol and debutant Sahher Bambba.

In an exclusive interview with PTI, Sunny opened up about working with his son for the film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. He said, “On set, you’re not reminded every second that he’s your son. When the camera is on, he’s a character, an actor. If I don’t get what I am looking for, I’ll be at it. I don’t feel something cannot be done.”

Upon asking his take on his son decision to pursue acting, he shared “I asked him if he was absolutely sure about this. This is a profession which can hurt you, damage you. We have to be strong enough to face whatever comes our way. One needs to have love, passion and talent here.

Acting is a compilation of a lot of realities of life which have to be brought together. I told him I support his decision. As a father, I’ll be around him but eventually only he has to do everything.”

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas marks the directorial debut of both actors who are playing the lead. Set and shot in Spiti Valley, Manali and Ladakh, the film’s trailer has holiday-adventure feels stamped all over it.

Besides, the film also stars Aakash Ahuja, Sachin Khedekar, Simone Singh, Megna Malik, Kamini Khanna, Akash Dhar in important roles.
