Which movie will you be watching this weekend — 'Laal Singh Chaddha' or 'Raksha Bandhan'?
'Laal Singh Chaddha' vs 'Raksha Bandhan'! This is probably going to be one of the major clashes in the history of Bollywood. While Aamir Khan-starrer is having a benefit of being a Hindi adaptation of the iconic Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump', Akshay Kumar-starrer has the advantage of being released on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Besides, it seems both 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha' are having fair competition as several people on social media have equally called for a boycott of both films. Now, it will be interesting to see which film does better.

'Laal Singh Chaddha' is an official Hindi remake of the Oscar-winning Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. Indeed it would be difficult for anyone to match the level of Tom Hanks-starrer but Aamir Khan, who is also known as Mr. Perfectionist', seems very confident about the film.

The film bagged a huge appreciation from several critics after they watched the preview of the film. Also, the film got an approval from the Sikg body SGPC. The film revolves around the 1984 Sikh riots and thus, Punjabis might have a good interest in the film.

On the other hand, 'Raksha Bandhan', featuring Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, is said to be a major competition for Aamir Khan-starrer considering the festival 'Raksha Bandhan' that falls on the same day.
