Will Akshay Kumar's Sikh Role Help 'Kesari' Earn Big At Box Office Than His Other 2 Sikh Films?

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's Kesari is going to be the biggest release of this week. While Akshay has previously rocked the turban look in 'Singh Is Kinng' and 'Singh Is Bliing', he is now ready with his outrageous Sikh look in 'Kesari'.

While this time he will be playing a Sikh role for a different genre, he first played a Sikh character in 2008 for the film 'Singh Is Kinng'. According to Times Now, Akshay's first Sikh look movie collected Rs 67.91 crore at the domestic box-office. The movie became super hit with Akshay's comic punch lines and Punjabi avatar.

Later on in 2015, he was again seen in a Sikh avatar for 'Singh Is Bliing', which was a sequel to the super hit 'Singh Is Kinng'. The film collected below Rs 90 crore, but was his career's second highest opener.

Now, Akshay will be seen Anurag Singh's directorial 'Kesari', which is based on the 1987 heroic battle of Saragarhi. The movie is scheduled to release on Holi, March 21. Kesari has melodious music in the voice of popular Punjabi singers Jazzy B, and B Praak, which are trending at the music chart busters.

While the trailer and the music is gathering immense from the audience, how much do you think the movie will collect at the box-office? Will 'Kesari' beat the box office collection of Akshay's previous Sikh role movies?
