‘Will Miss You Sir...Always,’ Shah Rukh Khan Pens Emotional Note For ‘Fauji’ Director

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has posted an emotional message for “Fauji” director Colonel Raj Kapoor who passed away last night in New Delhi owing to old age ailments. Raj Kapoor was the one who introduced Shah Rukh Khan with the television show “Fauji”

Shah Rukh Khan, who played the character of Lt. Abhimanyu Rai in the TV series, took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture of himself with Raj Kapoor and captioned the image as: “He loved me so much. Encouraged me. And today if I am used to being mollycoddled on sets it’s because of this man who made a ‘Fauji’ out of a boy, like his own. Will miss you Sir...always. May u find peace in ur new mission.“

Earlier, his son shared the sad news on Facebook and wrote, “This is to inform you that our beloved Dad, Raj Kumar Kapoor (Colonel), has left his earthly body to go on a brand new adventure.”

He retired from the army after he became a disciple of Osho and moved to Mumbai to work in films. He produced many serials and acted in full-length and ad films. Just a few years ago, he published a novel “When Shiva Smiles”.
