PTC Network, world’s number 1 Punjabi entertainment television network will be bringing a live e – concert on the world music day on June 21. The musicology will have celebs from across the nation as they will celebrate the essence of music. Professional singers like Lakhwinder Wadali, Satinder Sartaaj, Kamal Khan, Noopur Narayan, Bir Singh, Shamsher Lehri will perform live in the online concert of PTC Network’s musicology. The online concert will begin to celebrate the power and charisma of music from 4 PM onwards on PTC Punjabi and 9 PM onwards on PTC Chak de. The world music day is annually celebrated on June 21 to honour amateur and professional musicians alike. The primary aim of celebrating World Music Day is to provide free music to everyone, and also to encourage amateur musicians to showcase their work to the world. PTC Network has taken this initiative to spread the positivity in the form of music and soothe everyone’s mind during this pandemic. PTC Network’s President and MD, Rabindra Narayan announced the musicology, the E concert to promote Punjabi music and Punjabi virsa as the network has multiple channels like PTC Chak de and PTC Music to promote the quality music to the audience. As Rabindra Narayan has always said that PTC doesn’t run behind TRP and this is the only Punjabi channel that doesn’t broadcast songs related to drugs, weapons, and those against women. The network aims to provide classic and the best of music to its audience. The Network also has online facebook channel, PTC Dhol, which plays songs and music for its audience 24/7. As per the expert studies, music has benefited us as it helps lower the stress, helps people sleep better, and do wonders to people’s mental health. Considering the current situation in the world, owing to the ongoing wars and pandemic, people have connected to music in a bigger way and have grown to acknowledge the importance of music in our everyday life to concentrate, focus and spend time with selves at this time of social distancing. Meanwhile, the audience will listen to their favourite songs on the music channel throughout the day to honour the importance of music in our lives and how songs and musical notes can keep us lively during the tough times.
