Yami Gautam, on Tuesday, revealed that she will begin filming for Lost, helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who has also directed the famous Bollywood movie Pink. The film, Lost is said to be a hard-hitting investigation drama that will focus on the topic of media integrity.
Yami announced the project on her social media accounts. Yami commented on Instagram, sharing the film's first poster, "Here comes another hard-hitting & thrilling tale that's more relevant than ever in today's time, #Lost.

In Lost, Yami Gautam will be seen playing a role of a feisty crime reporter. Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, and Pia Bajpiee also star in the film.
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film's director, stated, "Designed as an investigative drama, at its core the film explores themes like commitment, responsibility, holding hands and making our world beautiful and compassionate. For me, it's important that any film I make should have a social context and that the stories are taken from the world around us. Lost is an emotional thriller that represents a higher quest, a search for lost values of empathy and integrity"
Zee Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes, and Indrani Mukherjee have produced the movie 'Lost'. The film is set to begin shooting soon in July 2021 and will be released in theatres in 2022.
On the other front, Yami Gautam, who married filmmaker Aditya Dhar in June, was most recently seen in Vikrant Massey's Ginny Weds Sunny. Aside from Lost, the 32-year-old actor is known for his role in Bhoot Police, Dasvi, and A Thursday in her list.
