YouTube Star Sahil Khattar To Play Syed Kirmani In Ranveer Singh-Starrer 83

YouTube star Sahil Khattar has been roped in to play Syed Kirmani in Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘83’. The film is based on India’s historic World Cup win in 1983. Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Indian captain Kapil Dev who led the Indian team to lift the World Cup trophy at Lord’s stadium.

Sahil, who began his career as a radio jockey, is a popular Indian YouTuber.

Besides, Punjabi film’s superstar Ammy Virk is playing Balwinder Singh Sandhu, who knocked out Gordon Greenidge in 1983 cricket world cup final. The makers also signed Tamil actor Jiva to portray wicket-keeper batsman Krishnamachari Srikkanth.

The makers took to social media to make an official announcement that said, "YouTube star @issahilkhattar is a part of '83 and he will be playing none other than #SyedKirmani in the film. #CastOf83"

The film is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
