Akshay Kumar is sixth 'richest actor in world’

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is the sixth richest actor in the world, said filmmaker Anurag Kashyap after Taapsee Pannu was compared with the 'Raksha Bandhan' actor.

Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu are currently busy promoting their upcoming film 'Dobaaraa'. Recently, Taapsee Pannu was compared to Akshay Kumar, during a promotional event, for doing a lot of films just like 'Raksha Bandhan' actor.

To this, Taapsee Pannu said that her paycheck doesn't match 'Khiladi' and that the megastar earns a lot of money. Then, Anurag Kashyap revealed that Akshay Kumar is the sixth-richest actor in the world.

'Dobaaraa' is helmed by Anurag Kashyap and is produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film is going to release on August 19. Notably, the film marks Anurag and Taapsee's third collaboration after 2018-hit 'Manmarziyaan' and 2019's 'Saand Ki Aankh'.

In a recent interview, Siddharth Kannan had said that he read several tweets calling Taapsee Pannu a ‘lady Akshay Kumar’ as she also does a lot of films.

To this, Taapsee had said that she would take this as a compliment if her paycheck matched that of Akshay Kumar "until then please don't do that.

Akshay Kumar is the highest earning and highest taxpayer, she said, adding that she doesn't get paid that much. Later, Anurag said, “He is the sixth richest actor in the world", “I am not even near that” Taapsee replied.
