Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan starrer film ‘Brahmastra’ is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood and Hindi movie buffs can’t wait for the release of the film.
The film has been through several delays in production and theatrical release in the past. Now, reports are rife that the producers of the movie are insisting that Ayan Mukerji has to chop off at least 25-30 minutes of the movie.
According to the latest reports, one of the co-producers of ‘Brahmastra’ wants the movie to be cut short by at least 25-30 minutes as the film is of approximately 3 hours.
Meanwhile, Ayan is not on board with this idea. According to Ayan, the portion being asked to be left out of the final edit constitutes part of the film’s core essence, and removing it from the final cut would compromise the impact greatly.
‘Brahmastra’ stars Ranbir and Alia in the lead role. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles.
The film’s seven days shoot is left and the makers plan to finish it off soon to start its post production work.
