Alia Bhatt discusses the balanced salaries of the actors: Alia Bhatt has been actively promoting her OTT debut 'Darlings'. The movie is scheduled to release on Netflix on August 5, 2022. Apart from her OTT debut, Alia Bhatt is also making her debut as a co-producer.

Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment is also co-producing the movie. The actress recently discussed her career, her film preferences, and even the challenges the Hindi film industry is having with box office performance.

The actress talked about the payment of actors if a film does not make it to the box office financially. "I agree that the star's salary should be equivalent to the film's budget. However, Kyunki Main Toh Choti Hun, I am not the one to tell anyone what their prices should be. I'm certain that all the producers would agree with me if you asked if there has to be some broad reevaluation. That is how even a star thinks" said Alia Bhatt.

The actress stated that when movies don't perform at the box office, then there have been cases where the performers have declined outstanding fees or returned fees.

About the movie 'Darlings', the film is directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, and produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma.
