Amitabh Bachchan reveals he cut a vein on his calf, says 'had the courage to call the doctor'

Amitabh Bachchan news: In shocking news, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he has cut his vein. While filming the "Kaun Banega Crorepati" game, Amitabh Bachchan had a vein on his left calf severed. As soon as he got to the hospital, stitches were given to him to stop the bleeding. The actor has written about the specifics of the collision on his blog.

A few stitches were needed to stop the bleeding, the seasoned actor stated in a blog post after sharing the experience. He did tell his supporters that he is now well, though.

Amitabh Bachchan in his blog said that his left calf was wounded by a protruding piece of metal, which also managed to cut the vein, which when cut spurts out 'red' uncontrolled. However, he had the courage to call the doctor, go to an OT, and have the wound stitched up in time with the help of a team of workers and doctors.

Amitabh most recently made an appearance in Ayan Mukerji's ambitious film 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva'. He is now getting ready for the debut of 'Uunchai', a film by Sooraj Barjatya that stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Dengzongpa, and Boman Irani. The film's release is slated for November 11.
