Anil Kapoor Gives Tribute To The Fanney Khan Of All Times “Mohammad Rafi”
After the massive popularity of the previously released tracks from Fanney Khan, “Jawaan Hai Mohabbat” and “Halka Halka Suroor” – the makers have now treated the audience to a new version of “Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue”. The remake of Shammi Kapoor’s iconic song has been sung by melodious singer, Sonu Nigam. Taking it to his social media handle, Anil Kapoor shared a video today morning to reveal the release of this song. Along with the video he captioned:

It is reported that Anil Kapoor suggested the name of Sony Nigam for redux version of this song. Atul Manjrekar instantly agreed upon the suggestion as who better can do the justice to this great retro song than Sonu Nigam. The song features Anil Kapoor who can be seen replicating some of the iconic dance moves of Shammi Kapoor.

Halka Halka Suroor is a recreated version of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and has become quite popular amongst the audience.
Anil Kapor is playing the role of a musician in this film, and for which he took trumpet lessons to make his character look more realistic. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays the role of a singer and love interest of RajKumar Rao in this movie. Fanney Khan is a journey of a father, who wishes to make his daughter an established singer. The film is slated to hit the screens of 3rd August.
