Arijit Singh's concert in Kolkata cancelled; details inside

His soothing voice transports listeners to completely other dimensions. People eagerly anticipate seeing him play live at his music gigs. Tickets for the singer's concert were recently sold for a high price. Unfortunately, there are rumours that his concert scheduled for Kolkata, West Bengal, may not go on as planned.

The 28th Kolkata International Film Festival was held in the "City of Joy" earlier this month, and notable people including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherji, State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and others were in attendance.

Following his appearance at the film festival, Arijit Singh got involved in political controversy. He performed his well-known song, "Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua," from Shah Rukh Khan's movie "Dilwale," during the opening ceremony on December 15. Shah Rukh and Kajol were used as models. People began questioning if he had just chosen this music at random or if there was a deeper significance.

According to rumours, Arijit Singh's performance at Kolkata's Eco Park may be cancelled. In response, Dr. Indranil Khan, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha for West Bengal, tweeted on his official Twitter account, "Why has WB Govt body HIDCO canceled Arijit Singh's show at Eco Park?

Originally slated for February 18, Arijit Singh's event has been moved, according to the government organization. According to reports, Salman Khan's performance is also planned to take place at the same location on January 20.
