Abbas-return Mustan's direction will be marked by three monkeys. Machine, which starred Abbas' son Mustafa and was released in 2015, was their most recent collaboration.

"Arjun Rampal's persona is similar to Professor from Money Heist," a source told Pinkvilla, "while Mustafa, along with two other actors, will play the robbers. All three thieves, as well as the Professor, will have their own distinct personalities since they will be working together for a concealed objective of personal gain. Abbas Mustan is a specialist at translating foreign thrillers, and they've done the same with the story of Three Monkeys."
