Ayushmann Khurrana pens a heartflet note for his parents as 'Chandigarh Kare Ashiqui' releases

Ayushmann Khurrana, a Bollywood actor, has established himself as India's current poster boy for content cinema. His spectacular social entertainers have brought forbidden themes into the light for public discussion, earning him the title of one of TIME magazine's "Most Influential People in the World."

The actor took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture of himself with his parents, with the caption, "Thank you Maa and Papa for all the values and all the life lessons that you have patiently taught me. They have been and will always be with me as my guiding light. I’m blessed to have you as my parents. Love you. ❤️?"

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is directed by Abhishek Kapoor who is known for films like Kai Po Che!, Rock On!!, Kedarnath.

The movie also stars Vaani Kapoor and the story of the film intends to re-ignite a national discourse on love is love as Ayushmann falls in love with a trans-woman in the film. He believes that these life lessons are at the root of his ground-breaking content decisions, which are transforming the face of Hindi cinema and making taboo subjects more accessible.
