Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon to be conferred with Padma Shri, details inside

Raveena Tandon news: On the 74th Republic Day, the government of India announced the Padma Shri awards for this year. Actress Raveena Tandon is the only actor to be honoured with Padma Shri. She is among the 106 recipients of the third-highest civilian award in India.

Recently in an interview, Raveena said that she will dedicate the award to her late father Ravi Tandon. She also added that she feels honoured and grateful and then she thanked the Government of India for acknowledging her contributions, passion, cinema and arts that allowed her to contribute to films.

Further, she also expressed her gratitude to all those who guided her in the journey of cinema. In addition to this, she also thanked all her fans who supported her in every film she did and she owes the award to her father.

For the unversed, this special news was revealed after she was chosen as a delegate at the W20, which was the Women's Empowerment engagement.
