With just days left for its worldwide release, the team of Ramayana is leaving no stone unturned to build excitement around the much-awaited film. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash recently arrived in London to promote the epic film. However, it was not just their grand appearance that caught everyone's attention. The lead actors surprised fans by choosing stylish Western outfits instead of their usual traditional Indian looks.
The change in their fashion choices quickly became a talking point on social media, with fans appreciating their fresh and elegant appearances.
Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi And Yash Make A Stylish Appearance In London
Over the past month, the lead cast of Ramayana has been promoting the film across different cities in India and abroad. During these promotional events, Ranbir, Sai Pallavi and Yash were mostly seen wearing traditional Indian outfits, reflecting the cultural spirit of the epic.
However, their London appearance was different. The actors ditched ethnic clothing and opted for Western fashion, giving fans a refreshing glimpse of their off-screen personalities.
The trio was accompanied by producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari. The official Instagram handle of Ramayana also shared several pictures and videos from the event.
In one of the videos, Ranbir, Sai Pallavi and Yash can be seen enjoying themselves while taking a selfie together. Another moment that caught attention was their special pose on the red carpet, where the three actors pretended to shoot an arrow, bringing a touch of the film's epic world to the promotional event.
The Instagram post described the London welcome as an epic moment and confirmed that the film would arrive in cinemas, IMAX and premium large formats worldwide on November 5.
Ranbir Kapoor And Yash Praise Sai Pallavi's Spiritual Nature
Apart from fashion and promotional appearances, Sai Pallavi also became a topic of discussion during a recent conversation with her co-stars.
Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Rama in the film, had some lovely words for the actress, who will portray Sita. He called Sai Pallavi the most spiritual person he had ever met.
Sharing his experience, Ranbir said, "She's the most spiritual person I've met in my entire life. Just the personality she has, her aura, her spirit is extremely spiritual."
Sai Pallavi responded with a smile and described her co-stars as extremely generous and kind.
Yash also agreed with Ranbir's observation. He explained that Sai Pallavi never takes credit for anything and often gives all the credit to God or the universe.
According to Yash, her spiritual nature is not something she simply talks about. It is reflected in the way she lives her life and approaches situations. Sai Pallavi, however, continued to remain humble and credited her co-stars for their kind words.
Ramayana To Be Made On A Massive Rs 4,000 Crore Budget
Another major reason behind the excitement surrounding Ramayana is its extraordinary scale and budget. The film is reportedly being made with a combined budget of around $500 million (over Rs 4,000 crore) for its two parts.
Speaking to Prakhar Gupta, producer Namit Malhotra revealed that the project began taking shape around six or seven years ago. He shared that many people initially doubted the idea because no Indian film had attempted something on such a massive scale.
Malhotra explained that the team wants to bring India's greatest epic to audiences across the world. He also said that the film is being made with ambition while keeping the production process efficient and responsible.
When Will Ramayana Release?
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts. The first instalment is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026, ahead of Diwali. The second part is expected to release during Diwali 2027.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, the film features Sunny Deol and Ravi Dubey in important roles.
With its massive budget, impressive star cast and grand vision, Ramayana is already creating considerable excitement among movie lovers. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see how this timeless Indian epic comes alive on the big screen.
