Deepak Reddy's 'Manasanamaha' becomes 1st Telugu short film to enter Guinness World Records

Manasanamaha in Guinness World Records: The 2020 Telugu short film Manasanamaha, directed by debutant Deepak Reddy which received the most prizes overall, enters Guinness Book of World Records in 2022.

Manasanamaha, also known as "Salutations to the Mind," is a modern age story that talks about connections.

At the renowned Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, the film won the Best Short Film award. Additionally, it served as the official entry for the BAFTA and Oscars.

It is the first Telugu short film to be listed in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records, under the direction of debutant director Deepak Reddy. The cast of the project includes Viraj Ashwin, Drishika Chander, Srivalli Raghavendar, and Prithvi Sharma.

While sharing the good news with everyone, filmmaker Deepak Reddy shared a picture of himself and wrote, "EXTREMELY PROUD! Highest number of AWARDS for any short film in the 🌎 WORLD 🌍!!! GUINESS RECORD! PERIOD. This is a superb job done by this fighter/achiever @deepuzoomout without a major support. This should be celebrated by entire Indian Film Fraternity!! This is not a joke! A great great achievement by this young lad full of dreams and aspirations! A True inspiration to nextgen filmmakers! 👏👏👏👏 BRAVO BROTHER! Sky is the LIMIT!

Suraj, a young guy, recalls his relationships with Chaithra, Varsha, and Seetha in the Guinness World Record-winning film. Winter, monsoon, and summer-themed names are given to the female characters.

As Surya, Viraj Ashwin performed. Characters Chaithra, Varsha, and Seetha are portrayed by Drishika Chander, Valli Raghavender, and Prithvi Sharma.

The Live-Action Short category of the Oscars has nominated it as well. The Best Short Film prize from the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is only one of the outstanding 513 national and international honours this Telugu film has received.
