Diljit Dosanjh set to make his OTT debut with Ali Abbas Zafar’s 'Jogi'; release date announced
Diljit Dosanjh's Jogi movie release date and star cast: Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make his OTT debut with the upcoming feature film 'Jogi', announced Netflix on Friday.
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film 'Jogi' featuring Diljit Dosanjh, is set in 1984 Delhi. The film showcases the story of a resilient friendship and courage during times of adversity.

Ali Abbas Zafar is also the producer of the film along with Himanshu Kishan Mehra. Earlier, Diljit Dosanjh had done several Hindi films, including 'Udta Punjab', 'Soorma' and 'Good Newwz'.
In the meanwhile, Diljit said that 'Jogi' has been one of his most amazing experiences as an actor. Diljit Dosanjh also said that the role of Jogi has been one of the most amazing experiences and that he was excited for his OTT debut on Netflix.

He further said that the team has worked hard on this story besides he also thanked Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Kishan for having faith in him. Likewise, the director said that 'Jogi’ was a very special film to him and that Diljit seemed the best option for him to essay the role of ‘Jogi’.
Announcing the release date of 'Jogi', Netflix stated: "Himmat da naam Jogi. Umeed da naam Jogi. Watch this gripping tale of bravery, friendship and hope. Jogi arrives September 16th, only on Netflix!"
