Emraan Hashmi, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Selfie' gets a new release date [Details inside]

Selfie release date: The release date for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's movie, which also stars Emraan Hashmi and was revealed in January of this year, has been confirmed. The movie "Selfiee," which is being produced by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames, and Cape of Good Films, is expected to premiere on February 24, 2023.

The movie also features Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha will also play significant roles in the upcoming drama-comedy. Taran Adarsh, film trade analyst, confirmed the announcement of film's new release date on his Instagram account.

Previosuly, new release date for Kartik Aaryan's movie Shehzada was disclosed. The movie will compete with the Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh-starring Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is directed by Karan Johar. The movie, which was originally scheduled to open on November 4, 2022, will now open on February 10, 2019, the weekend of Valentine's Day.

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi were cast in the Hindi version of the Malayalam film Driving License, which was revealed in January of this year. Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Magic Frame, and Prithviraj Productions have all funded the project, which is titled Selfie.

The project will be directed by filmmaker Raj Mehta. The late Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta, and Listin Stephen are responsible for producing it.
