Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tests positive for Covid-19

Hansal Mehta Covid-19 positive: Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who is known for popular films Citylights, Shahid and several others have now joined the list of celebs tested positive for covid-19 recently. The filmmakers confirmed the news via his social media accounts and stated, “So, I’ve tested Covid +ve. Symptoms are not very mild. Request all those in contact with me since the past few days take necessary steps. Stay safe please.”

Apart from informing everyone about his Covid positive report, the filmmaker also requested everyone who came in contact with him to get them tested and take the required steps to get themselves tested.

Ahead of Hansal Mehta, several B-town celebs reported to be tested positive for Covid-19 for more than once. Recently, Shah Rukh Khanm Kartik Aaryan, Katrina Kaif and several others also recovered after getting positive for Covid-19 recently.

For the unversed, Hansal Mehta has tested positive for Covid for the second time. He was infected with the virus in 2021 and announced about his health updates through his social media post. The filmmaker then wrote, "Six people in my home, including me, were COVID positive. Our son was critical. But we were helpless as we were sick too. Thankfully, we were in Mumbai where hospital beds, oxygen and medicines were available. We are all hopefully now on the road to recovery."

Meanwhile on the professional front, the filmmaker is currently working on his next directorial ‘Captain India’ which stars Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan.
