Govinda Naam Mera's satellite and digital rights SOLD at 'No Profit No Loss deal'

'Govinda Naam Mera' OTT platform rights, satellite rights release date: The Bollywood industry is facing a hard time right now with back-to-back flop films and thus, the producers have been forced to reconsider their strategies. The current crisis in Bollywood has forced several actors to bring down their acting fees, while producers have put scripts in the scan in an order to make 2023 a brighter year for the Bollywood Industry.

One such step is to send non-theatrical films directly to OTT platforms. In the meanwhile, Shashank Khaitan's 'Govinda Naam Mera', featuring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, has been one of the most anticipated films of the Bollywood industry.

Even before the release of 'Govinda Naam Mera', the fans of Vicky Kaushal have been looking for the film's OTT platform rights and release date.

Notably, 'Govinda Naam Mera' has been sold to Disney+Hotstar. As per the Bollywood Hungama, a source stated that the film is not ideal for the big screen in current scenario and hence, the makers have decided to release the film directly on digital.

Additionally, the satellite and digital rights of 'Govinda Naam Mera' have been sold to Star Network for Rs 62 crore. According to information, the digital rights of 'Govinda Naam Mera' have been sold at Rs. 42 crores while the satellite rights have been finalised at Rs. 20 crores.

Thus, Govinda Naam Mera's OTT platform will be Disney Plus Hotstar, however, there has been no information about the release date.
