Harnaaz Sandhu crowned as 'Miss Universe 2021'; See Pictures

It is a proud moment for the entire nation as Harnaaz Sandhu from Punjab brings home Miss Universe 2021’s crown. She won the title of Miss Universe after a span of 21 years.

Ms. Sandhu represented India in Eilat, Israel, at the 70th Miss Universe 2021 pageant.

Nadia Ferreira of Paraguay and Lalela Mswane of South Africa were edged to the title by Harnaaz.

Harnaaz, is also a yoga devotee and fitness enthusiast from Chandigarh, was born into a Sikh household.

Previously, India won the title two times – Sushmita Sen won in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000.

Harnaaz Sandhu, has also starred in Punjabi films including Yaara Diyan Poo Baran and Bai Ji Kuttange and has won many pageants.

In a glittering ceremony on September 30, Chandigarh's Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021. LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2021 was won by Ritika Khatnani of Pune, and LIVA Miss Diva 1st Runner up was won by Sonal Kukreja of Jaipur.
