Himanshi Khurana's Views On Dowry System Will Leave You in Deep Contemplation

The evil dowry custom i.e. a transfer of parental property, gifts or money at the marriage of a daughter, is a blot on modern Indian society that has made a solemn affair like marriage nothing less than a business deal. Groom’s parents evaluate the worth of their son and literally sell their kids to those who are able to make the so called purchase.

Famous Punjabi model Himanshi Khurana recently expressed her views on the concept of dowry and even gave out a snippet of her future wedding. Though many girls’ parents may frown upon such idea of wedding but Himanshi Khurana certainly deserves applause for her independent views. Till the time we don’t break free from society’s burden, the evil called ‘dowry’ will remain prevalent in India.
