'Citadel was the first time I was paid equal as male co star', says Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is known to speak her mind on various things that she finds problematic and not mince her words to please anybody. She has spoken at length about the ‘pay disparity’ that women face in all fields and industries. But this time while speaking about her new web series “Citadel” she confirmed that it was the first time she’s had pay parity with her male costar Richard Madden. The show is a global action-packed spy series directed by the Russo Brothers and is set to release on Amazon Prime.
The actress was all praises for Amazon Studios for the ease with which they called her and Madden co-leads and that she deserves what is fair pay. JenifferSalke, the Amazon Studios head said that her team compromises of “great male and female allies” when asked if the pay parity is a result of her leadership as a woman.

Citadel’s first trailer was released recently. Apart from this series, Priyanka also has “Love Again” starring Sam Heughan and Celine Dion set to release this year. The movie is the English remake of the 2016 German film “SMS Fur Dich” which is based on a novel by Sofie Cramer.
