The International Emmy Awards 2023 unfolded in a glamorous affair on Monday in New York, revealing the deserving winners. Hosted by actor-comedian Rhys Darby, the International Emmy Awards 2023 took place on November 21 (IST) in New York.
The nominations, initially disclosed on September 26 by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, set the stage for this prestigious event. India proudly was awarded two Emmy awards, with Vir Das sharing the spotlight for his Netflix comedy specials 'Vir Das: Landing' and 'Derry Girls Season 3.' Ektaa Kapoor received the esteemed International Emmy Directorate Award.
Despite stiff competition, Shefali Shah and Jim Sarbh narrowly missed out on the Best Actor award, but their performances were acknowledged nonetheless. A total of 56 contenders from 20 countries engaged in a spirited contest across 14 categories, making the International Emmy Awards 2023 a showcase of global talent and achievement.
