Harry Potter Fame Tom Felton Joins Hansal Mehta's Indian Series 'Gandhi'; Filming Begins

Tom Felton, famously known for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the beloved Harry Potter movies, has taken on a new role in Hansal Mehta's upcoming 'Gandhi' series.

In this series, Felton will step into the shoes of Josiah Oldfield, who was Mahatma Gandhi's close friend during his time in London while he was studying law. Pratik Gandhi is playing the lead role of Mahatma Gandhi.

Joining Felton in the cast are talented actors including Libby Mai, Molly Wright, Ralph Adeniyi, James Murray, Lindon Alexander, Jonno Davies, and Simon Lennon.

Expressing his enthusiasm for being part of the Indian show, Felton stated, "I'm excited to be part of the journey of telling the story of Gandhi's early years in London. It's an important aspect of history that hasn't been told on screen before, and to be working with Hansal & Pratik is an honour and pleasure."

Director Hansal Mehta also shared his excitement about collaborating with Felton and the rest of the cast. "Working with an exceptionally talented cast has been nothing but a privilege.
