Aamir Khan on making a film on Mahabharat: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who is currently promoting 'Laal Singh Chaddha', once again opened up about his dream project — the Hindu mythological epic 'Mahabharata'.
Opening up about the film 'Mahabharat', Aamir Khan said that he was scared to work on it.
'Mr. Perfectionist' has been working on the high-budget film, based on Mahabharata. Notably, the actor walked out of Rakesh Sharma's biopic in 2018, so that he could work on the film 'Mahabharat'
Back in 2018, there were reports that the film is rumoured to be of a huge budget of Rs 1000-crore.
In the meanwhile, Aamir Khan, while talking to Galatta Plus, said that Mahabharata is not just a film, it's like performing a Yagya. 'Mahabharat' is not just a film, he said, adding that it is much more.
Therefore, he said that was the reason why he was not ready for it yet. "I am scared of bringing it out," said Aamir Khan. He added that "'Mahabharata' will never let you down, but you may let down Mahabharata.”
Aamir Khan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Laal Singh Chadha' which is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood's iconic film 'Forrest Gump'. Notably, 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is also a film that took years for Aamir Khan.
