Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan are all set to hit the silver screen together after a long span of 12 years. They were last seen together in '3 Idiots' and now they will be seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.
Both the lead actors on Sunday were spotted together as they resumed the shooting of their upcoming movie. Kareena Kapoor Khan also took to her Instagram to share a slew of pictures with her team along with which she wrote, 'Back with my loves'. The actress has returned to the set of her upcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' after about seven months of giving birth to her second son Jeh.
The majority of the movie was shot in Punjab and Ladakh. In terms of release date, 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' which also stars actor Mona Singh in a key role, will hit theatres this Christmas. Aamir Khan purchased the film's rights in 2018 and officially began production in 2019.
Kareena and Aamir were seen having an intense conversation earlier. The pictures shows that Aamir is trying to explain, what appeared to be, the scene they were set to shoot while Kareena stood with a cup of a drink in her hand.
The movie was scheduled to release in December 2020. However, the release was postponed after the shoot was halted in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' directed by Advait Chandan, is an official Hindi remake of the Oscar-winning 1994 film 'Forrest Gump,' which starred Hollywood star Tom Hanks in the titular role.
