'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Raksha Bandhan' shows reduced following low turnout and cancelled shows
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' has been receiving mixed responses from the audience. The film is up against the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Raksha Bandhan'. Several critics have given bad reviews to the film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' but there are those as well who are saying that the film is amazing.
'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan' both witnessed a slow start at the box office on August 11 as both films failed to garner a combined total of Rs. 20 crores on their opening day.

It seems the thought of using the occasion of Raksha Bandhan seemed to have failed for both the films. The opening day shocked the Hindi Film Industry and in the meanwhile, shocking news has surfaced on social media.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the sources revealed that the cinema owners have voluntarily reduced the shows of both 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan' citing poor shows at the box office.

Reportedly, both 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan' were released with over 10,000 shows across the country. On an opening day, the occupancy was very low due to which the exhibitors decided to reduce the shows of both the films on day 2.

As many as 1300 shows of 'Laal Singh Chaddha' have been reduced while 1,000 shows of 'Raksha Bandhan' have also been reduced.
