Manushi Chillar was the first choice for Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha': Bollywood actor Aamir Khan-starrer 'Laal Singh Chaddha' has been in the headlines for a long time now. The film has been released in theatres and several reviews have surfaced on social media which shows the film is receiving a good response.

Recently, it was revealed that Kareena Kapoor was not the first choice for the film and that she had to give a screen test for the role in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.

If Kareena Kapoor was not the first choice for the film, then who was it? It was none other than former beauty queen Manushi Chillar. As per the BollywoodHungama, the sources revealed that Manushi Chillar was the first choice of Aamir Khan to play his wife in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.

However, it has been reported that Manushi Chillar had already signed agreement with 'Yash Raj Films'.

On the work front, Manushi will be seen in the upcoming film 'Tehran' with John Abraham. The film is being directed by debutant Arun Gopalan.

'Laal Singh Chaddha' hit the theatres on August 11 but it has a major clash with Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Raksha Bandhan'.

Notably, Aamir was very confident about 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Recently, Aamir and Kareena both were seen during 'Koffee With Karan season 7'.
