Mouni Roy is to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold’ but the actress doesn’t seem to stop here. Popular TV actress, Mouni Roy came to limelight with her show Naagin in which she was portraying the role of a 'Naagin'.  A video is making rounds on social media in which we can see Mouni Roy dancing on the popular Punjabi song of Neeru Bajwa.

Mouni, who plays the wife of Akshay Kumar in the film, earned her stripes as a successful actor from Indian Television. She worked in the serials like Naagin and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which were quite popular amongst the audience. Indian TV Actress, Mouni is playing the character of Monobina Das in the film and the film boasts of a song on the character’s name.

Gold is based on the story of independent India’s first Olympic winning hockey team and the struggle they made to achieve their goal. The actors Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh are playing players, while Akshay Kumar plays the role of the hockey team manager, Tapan. Mouni Roy is the wife of Tapan in the film.
