Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh on Sunday inaugurated the life-size statue of his son at Punjab's Mansa district.
While inaugurating the life-size statue of Sidhu Moose Wala, his father said that his son was a lion and that he moved freely.
Recently, Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar's confession video went viral on social media in which he claimed that Sidhu Moose Wala had offered him Rs 2 crore to spare his life.
Reacting to the same, the late singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents said that the murderers of their son wanted to silence him. However, his (Moose Wala) voice has spread far and wide and that it can't be suppressed, his father said.
Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh, after inaugurating a life-size statue of his son at Mansa’s Musa village, said that his son was a lion who moved freely and that he did not hide his face like his killers.
Likewise, Sidhu Moose Wala's mother Charan Kaur said that her son may have had attitude, but he rose from the grassroots level and was self-made. Besides, he was not arrogant, she said, adding that he used to get emotional seeing others in pain.
Late singer's father further said that some people wanted to silence the voice of Sidhu, but it became even stronger. "My son never bowed to the gangsters and their threats,” he added.
